Wall Removal: Bull Creek
Closer to home, one of our team not only wanted but needed to improve their living space and home. Or in their own words, “We’re desperate to stop walking through our laundry to access the pantry!” The pokey kitchen had limited cupboard space, and there was little flow between the kitchen, dining and family rooms.
To create a more open family friendly home, the clients wanted to remove several walls in the family, dining and kitchen areas, opening up the living area.
The immediate wall dividing the dining, kitchen and family rooms was removed, immediately allowing in natural light and creating space. Two walls and a door leading from the kitchen into the passage were removed, and a new wall was built to block the entry, extending the original kitchen wall. This allowed for a new crisp white kitchen cabinetry creating an extra 80% storage space. With extra space created, a customised white Caesar stone island bench top was installed that still allowed space for a 10-seater dining table. The curved archway was levelled off creating a modern square entry. New tiles and carpet were laid, new paint work, LED and pendant lighting were also installed to update the home. From $35,000 you can have walls removed a new kitchen.
